Some have asked, "Why are you going on a mission?" This is the reason:
God lives. He created us. We lived with Him before we were born and we look forward to living with Him again after this life. God is truly our Heavenly Father and He wants us to teach others about Him.
All of us were born into the world with the Light of Christ within us. This light helps us recognize truth and it helps us make right choices. We all have agency to choose and no one is compelled.
There are those in the world who feel something missing in their life or are seeking a better way of living. Sharing light and truth with those who are seeking is a way to give back; a way to share the gift we feel so blessed to have. We love God and feel His direction in our life. He is truly leading us along. We feel His spirit guide us and we are trying as best as we can to follow Him.
As it says in the Doctrine & Covenants: For behold and lo, the Lord is God and the Spirit beareth record and the record is true and truth abideth forever and ever." (section 1:39)
